…and it was an amazing success.  Much better than we could have hoped or imagined.  The participants produced brilliant work, the guerrilla had a huge impact and was loads of fun, the LUCI delegates had a great time and gave us wonderful feedback and the whole event received national publicity in Le Soir on Saturday.

We think the workshop will have some permanent impact and lead to better lighting for the residents of Sclessin – who were wonderful to meet and very friendly and open.

It’s time to sign up and learn how the leading exponents of Social Lighting work with communities to deliver people centred lighting.  The six founders of the Social Light Movement – Elettra Bordonaro, Erik Olsson, Joran Linder, Isabelle Corten, Sharon Stammers and Martin Lupton will all act as mentors and tutors for this first Social Light Movement workshop.

This is a hands-on workshop where you will be mentored through the design process and ultimately present your teams social lighting concepts to the members of LUCI and the City of Liege.

As part of the process Light Collective UK will give you a “how-to guide” to guerrilla lighting, as used to deliver the light interventions shown on www.guerrillalighting.net and you will be able to participate in a live mission on the Friday night with the members of the LUCI network before the after show party.
